to put it plainly,

my mother dearest is as equally blog obsessed as i am.

this is a good thing for her,

she makes lots of new friends.

i also like these new friends of hers,

there's something about bloggy ladies sending each other care packages.

one bloggy lady sent mommy dear a box full of vintage fabric.

also of which contained this vintage apron.

of course, i called dibs.

from the moment i put it on i have had domestic urges.

i quickly whipped up a batch of orange brownies...{orangies}

washed all the dishes, among other things

and proceeded to spend the evening happily in my apron.

and now, it seems i can't do much of anything without my apron.

but for those times when you actually need to be cute

i.e. going out in public, on a date, at church or at work etc.

you should let my friend Joslyn take care of you.

she has pretty much pwned me in the world of headbands.
