today i bought THIS swimsuit and i am quite excited about it. 

i must say i have never felt so good in a one piece...it looks okay on this 'model' too.

today i miss him. it's okay though. i know everything will work out. it's not really a sadness, just a longing to have my best friend back; like he has been away for so long i just want him to come home. we'll call it a vacation. 

eventually everyone has to come home from vacation.

and i'm grateful that even though i was in a most rotten mood today, Heavenly Father still loved me enough to answer my questions and be mindful of my prayers.

today was a good day.

the highlight of my day (besides the temple this morning) was eating cookies at work.

my grandpa was rad. i can't wait to see him again someday,

as i was doing my hair today, i came across this little fellow. while straightening my hair (with an extremely hot flat iron in my hand mind you) this creature (who looks like it belongs in a forest, NOT a desert...or my house for that matter) decided it wanted to attack me. all of a sudden i just saw a brown, flying blur. SICK. after its flight, it landed in the bin in my bathroom with my hair products and my toothpaste. luckily i was able to put the top on the box and now i will wait until it is dead to get my good toothpaste back.

and just to make it known what my bug life is like...today i also battled a cricket and a wolf spider. somebody save me.

Just getting started...

sooo...sometimes when i just need some time to myself i like to make headbands (i may have to skip class sometimes to make this happen, don't tell my father). 

well once my friends saw some of my creations they decided they loved the idea and wanted to make some of their own. now, after spending many a night making headbands until 3 am, we have decided to go public. we have received comments and requests of all sorts (the latest being my friend Brittany was asked by her friend to make matching headbands for her bridesmaids for her wedding). 

we are still just getting started and working on new ideas but we are EXCITED to get this rolling and spend hours of girl time making headbands to sell (at a reasonable price of course).

Friday

Let me just start by saying I had the most wonderful lunch with my dear friend Grace today. We went to Pita Jungle and each had our own plate of food and then shared this delightful dessert which consisted of baklava, pistachio ice cream and strawberries... seriously delicious! It's so good to finally have my appetite back after being sick (and dealing with other things).

After lunch I headed into work at my new job! I am now officially an employee at Farm Bureau Financial Services (sounds like a grown up job huh?).  I'm in training this weekend so I had to stay until 8 but as soon as I got off I met up with friends at Blake Jones' casa and we all played games, went to the park and flew kites and played on the swings; oh to feel like a kid again. We all decided to take in a little movie action with Kung-Fu Panda and then called it a night. But the party shall continue tomorrow!

Amigos

Well since I have been single for a month and a half (yikes!) now I have been forced to get back out into the young single adult social world. I have to say, I am so grateful for the awesome friends I have gotten back in touch with, the new friends I've made and everyone in between. These people have all been such a blessing in my life when I have been down. I love having friends I can serve with, go to the temple with and just have an all around good time with! I know that Heavenly Father has blessed me with these amazing people to be there for me when the one person that I want to run to isn't there for me. Each day doesn't get any easier but I become stronger and I know that I can move forward and let things back into my life. I live in a wonderful world and I can't wait to see what else is to come!
